About

Skydoom Flight Log is a small independent publication on the history of aviation: the people, machines and ideas that taught us to fly, and the systems that keep flying orderly.

We publish short essays written from printed sources and checked against more than one of them. Where accounts differ, we say so. We do not write about current news, airline reviews or flight deals.

The journal has no advertising and does not track its readers. Two sections go further into particular subjects: Tower on air traffic and airfields, and Hangar on aircraft and engineering.

Corrections are welcome. Please write to editor@skydoom.org.
